Fall is here and our Ice Season is fast approaching, compressors will be turned on this week! With that being said, here are some important dates and items coming up.
We will be holding our Document Day and Equipment Check Out this coming Sunday, September 22nd from 6:00-8:00 PM at the ice rink. This night is very important. Please plan on attending.
There will be tables to check in with team parents and drop off all required documents (if they haven't been submitted electronically already). DIBS checks will be collected and calendars will need to be picked up/paid for as well. Skaters will not be permitted to set foot on the ice until ALL payments/paperwork are submitted.
Rink Set-Up will be on October 6th from 1:00-3:00 PM. DIBS have been posted for this and it is a great way to get some DIBS in before the season begins. Mark your calendars and plan to attend, many hands make light work!
The Miracle Fundraising Event will be held Saturday, October 12th at Hillcrest Golf & Country Club. Tickets are still available, please contact Heath Larson 605-661-9714 for tickets. Tickets will also be on sale during Document Day/Equipment Check Out.

YAIA Stampede Night will be on Saturday, October 26th. The Sioux Falls Stampede will be taking on the Muskegon Lumberjacks. Our very own Mites will be skating during intermission at this game! For tickets contact Josh at 605-336-6060 and be sure to mention Yankton Hockey. For every ticket purchased, YAIA gets $3 back. Tickets will also be on sale during Document Day/Equipment Check Out.
I am excited about the upcoming season and believe it will be successful for both our Figure Skating and Hockey programs. Thank you for your support and volunteer efforts to help make our program run!
