Summer Ice Hockey Program

WHO: 2018/19 Season – Birth Years 2004 to 2011 (They will play with kids their own age groups or as close as possible when teams are split up)

WHERE: Scheels Ice Plex - Sioux Falls, SD

HOW MUCH: $100.00 / Player Registration Fee (Does not included equipment rental if needed)

USA Hockey Registered for 2018/19 Preferred.

Registration Date: (This will be scheduled in the next couple of weeks)

Play at your own risk. We will have a registration form, a waiver as well as a medical form for everyone to sign so if there would be a situation and the parents are not there we can make sure everything is covered.

Full Hockey Gear Required (Equipment can be rented out for the off season at the time of equipment check in dates)

We will have locker rooms to change in at the Ice Plex

Equipment can be rented from YAIA (this would need to be renewed when the equipment turn in date is scheduled)

Spring Schedule: Sioux Falls Ice Plex (6:30 to 8:30 Ice Time)

• June 1
• June 8

Basically all of June and July off

Fall Schedule: Sioux Falls Ice Plex (6:30 to 8:30 Ice Time)

• July 20
• July 27
• August 10
• August 10
• September 7
• September 21

I know that the Friday is not ideal for everyone. It did not work to bad last year. We will not be taking personal attendance. We understand that not everyone will be there every time. It is a one time registration for the entire program (Both Sessions Spring and Fall). That’s 20 hours of ice time for $100 bucks (and you can drop them off and run errands in Sioux Falls)

We may have to adjust ice time based on registration $$ if necessary. (Hopefully we will have enough kids involved to cover the ice dollars like last year)

Dryland - We are not doing a formal dryland this year. We encourage the kids to do stick handling and shooting on their own. (YAIA always has the 10,000 puck challenge every summer, it would be a great way to increase YAIA shooting)
