MITCHELL — The Yankton PeeWee ‘B’ hockey team won its division in a tournament in Mitchell over the weekend.

The Miracle outscored its opponents 37-4 in the tournament, recording two shutouts.

YANKTON 9, ABERDEEN 0: Thomas Wiener had two goals, and Elijah Berry, Brody Burgeson and Glenn Anderson each had a goal and an assist for Yankton. Zach Roesler also scored a goal. Leo Hastreiter added an assist. Ryan Eichacker stopped six shots in goal to preserve the shutout.

YANKTON 11, OAHE 1: Steven Dempsey had a hat trick and an assist, and Brody Burgeson had two goals and two assists to lead Yankton. Nate Bohnsack had a goal and two assists. Christian Budig and Luke Schulz each had a goal and an assist. Elijah Berry and Zach Roesler added goals. Cody Larson added an assist. Ryan Eichacker stopped one shot.

YANKTON 10, MITCHELL 0: Elijah Berry, Luke Schulz and Steven Dempsey each recorded two goals to lead Yankton. Zach Roesler had a goal and two assists. YANKTON 9, S.F. WEST 3: Luke Schulz and Brody Burgeson had two goals each, with Schulz also recording an assist for Yankton. Thomas Wiener, Christian Curran, Steven Dempsey, Christian Budig and Leo Hastreiter added goals. Elijah Berry and Zach Roeseler added assists. Ryan Eichacker stopped 11 shots for the win in goal.
